Big Bang

Through the perforated surface of the metallic object, light and odour stream into the gallery space. The scent, which was created by the perfumer Karl-Heinz Bork according to my instructions, is an imaginative recreation of the smell of Big Bang, the creation of the universe. The patterns of perforations in the steel surface of the olfactory object are taken from an image of an actual galaxy.
